My phone is locked, can I still use an eSIMAdventures eSIM?

Updated April 22, 2026

For your device to utilize an eSIMAdventures plan, it must be 'carrier-unlocked'. If you acquired your phone directly from a mobile provider (like T-Mobile, Vodafone, AT&T, etc.) as part of a contract, it's highly probable that it's locked to that network. This prevents it from accepting eSIMs or physical SIMs from other carriers. We strongly advise contacting your home provider to confirm your phone's unlock status before purchasing an eSIMAdventures plan, ensuring a smooth start to your journey.
